If you signed up to receive our newsletter or a free eSeries in our Preference Center, congratulations! We're so happy you've joined the tribe.

But then a few weeks go by and all of a sudden you're missing email #5 or #12 in our Biblical Book Introductions eseries and you're concerned that the TLV actually has missing books in its physical copy.

Do not fear, friend!

There's no missing books - all 66 are included. We're just hanging out in your spam folder.

TLV Bible = Good News.

Spam Folder = Not Good News.

Why This is Happening

Services like Gmail, Outlook.com and Yahoo! Mail block email to protect you from unwanted or malicious email such as phishing, scams and spam.

They are mistaking email that you want for email that you don’t want.

If ask your email provider to unblock or whitelist an email address, email from that address will be more likely to get through.

If you want to continue hearing from us (we have a lot of great things to talk about, like the saving grace, lovingkindness and redemptive love of Messiah Yeshua) then you'll need to whitelist our email address.

Here is an explanation of how to do that for Gmail and Outlook.com (Windows Live Mail, Hotmail or MSN Mail are the same).

And if you're using Yahoo, well, may the odds be ever in your favor.

Just kidding. I'll list instructions below for Yahoo. However, there won't be any gif-ing going on because none of us use Yahoo as an email client (but I'm happy you do) so I couldn't create instructional screenshots.

This is a lot to get through, so scroll down and find your email provider and take one step at a time.

How to Prevent TLV Emails from Ending up as Spam

Gmail Users

Here's how to whitelist our address if you're using Gmail:

#1: Add our email address ([email protected]) to your contacts list. Google will usually deliver email from addresses that are in your Contacts.

Click the menu in the top right corner, then click contacts.

Click "Add a New Contact" and enter TLV Bible Society, [email protected]

#2: Create a Filter for the Address

Login to Gmail, click on the gear icon and select "Settings"

Select "Filters and blocked addresses"

Select "Create New Filter"

Add [email protected] to the "From" field and click "Create Filter.

On the next screen, check the "Never send to spam" box and click "Create Filter".

The email address will now be whitelisted! 🎉

But what if the emails are being delivered to my Promotions tab?

Do not fear! Be bold and courageous!

If you're a Gmail user and you start to notice that the TLV Emails are ending up in your Promotions Tab that you never check (like myself) and you want them in your main inbox, simply find the email in your Promotions tab, click and drag it to your main inbox, and click "yes" when it asks if you want all future emails from this address to appear in your main inbox. Watch the .gif below.

Outlook Users

Here's how to whitelist our address if you're using Outlook, Windows Live Mail, Hotmail or MSN Mail:

#1: Add our email address ([email protected]) to your contacts list. Outlook will usually deliver email from addresses that are in your Contacts.

Click on the people icon in the bottom left of the menu.

Add the TLV Bible Society as a contact with the email address [email protected]

#2: Add the Address to your Safe Senders.

Click the cog icon in the top-right corner and then More mail settings

Click "Junk Mail" and then scroll down to "Safe Senders and Domains" and add [email protected] and our domain, tlvbiblesociety.org to the list.

click Save.

Yahoo!

#1: Add the address, [email protected], to your contacts list. Yahoo! will usually deliver email from addresses that are in your Contacts.

#2. Create a filter.

Mouse over the Settings menu icon and select Settings

• Click Filters and then Add

• Enter a Filter Name

• Either enter the domain of the email you want to whitelist in the Sender field, or enter the email address of the online group you want to whitelist in the Recipient field

• Select Inbox as the folder to deliver the email to

• Click Save and then click Save again
